Memorial weekend is upon us.  For me, this weekend marks the beginning of the good ledge fishing as well as remembering our military personnel who’ve given their lives so we can enjoy our American way of life.  Thank you!

BASS:

The bass action has been outstanding.  You can catch 150 bass in 8 hrs most days.  Most of the fish are 12” to 14” but we’ve caught them as big as 7 Lbs these past couple of weeks.  Main lake points and ledges have given the best action but you can still catch plenty of bass shallow.

Big crank baits, heavy spinner baits, jigs, and soft plastics are all producing fish.  Green pumpkin and plum have been productive colors for us with soft plastics.  Check photos at www.captainkirksguideservice.com

 Have a safe holiday weekend!

See ya on the Water!

Capt Kirk, out!

Thanks,

Julie Weber
