ISRAEL SHAFFER & GARRY SHAFFER TAKE THE WIN!

The third event of the season started out the day with light winds and a temp of around 63 degrees and take off at 6:00 and cloudy skies. Anglers reported catching their fish early the day using various baits and locations. A total of 72 fish were caught that weighted in a total of 221.27 pounds.

The first place team of Israel Shaffer and Garry Shaffer reported catching their 5 fish limit using Carolina rigs and tubs throughout the day on the main lake channel breaks in 8 to 12 foot of water. The team ended the day with a sack of fish that weight in at 18.44 pounds that earned the team $1185.00 and plagues for the first place win. The team is sponsored by Jim Kimper in Gordonville MO. GREAT JOB GUYS!

The second place team of Bill Griffith and Greg Ellett reported catching their 5 fish limit early using a frogs and sincos in the matted grass in 2 to 4 feet of water. The team had a total weight of 17.32 pounds that earned them $685.00 for first place and entering the option money worth $190.00 the team earned a total of $875.00 and plaques. The team is sponsored by Dunns Sporting Goods in Marion IL.

The third place team of Matt Strobel and Dwayne Jones reported catching their 5 fish limit using Snagproof frogs, Lunker Lure Jigs and shacky Haeds, in 2 to 4 foot of water throught the day. The team caught a lot of fish and cauled throughout the day to end up with 16.29 pounds of fish that earned the team $400.00 and plaques. The team is sponsored by Snag proof, Vicious fishing, Hog Caller, Lunker Lure and S&S Guide Service.

The big bass of the day was caught by Randy Lynch and Ross Genaro ended the day with 1 fish that weight in at 5.94 pounds that earned the team $240.00 and a plaque. The team reported catching the fish in the grass on the main lake. NICE FISH GUYS!
