Travis Boley and John McKinney WIN!
Clinton Lake, April 21, 2006, by Carl Parks

22 Teams
Temp: 40-72
Wind: 15 mph South

The Central Illinois Division would like to thank the First Christian Church in Farmer City for inviting us in and serving us a wonderful meal! Pat Smith and his family have been with us since we started our division and we are so blessed by their hospitality. We were treated with pork chop sandwiches that people are still talking about, Texas style beans and potato salad. Then it was on to dessert with brownies and ice cream. WOW! Thank you so much.

Our Director Carl Parks gave his testimony through which one young lady gave her life to Christ and three people rededicated there lives. Amen!

Saturday morning was calm and crisp about 40 degrees but by the afternoon it warmed up nicely to about 72 degrees with sunny skies. The wind was out of the south at approx. 15 mph. Twenty two teams took to the water at first light in hopes that they would return to the Clinton Marina at 3:00 pm for the weigh-in with the winning bag of fish.
